The front of the property is Georgian; it is a modern extension to the original eighteenth-century cottage, and it stands alone in an acre of garden. It is bordered by a small and pretty river. The Honddu River is slow moving and shallow - three feet at the deepest - and about twenty feet from bank to bank. One can have breakfast on the riverbank while overlooking the water and it is normal to see kingfishers fly close- by. Rooms appointed are primarily for language-learners staying for a language-immersion experience.
