Spinnaker School of English has a caring family approach, where all students are taught and cared for as individuals. Our dedicated and friendly staff will provide and create the right environment for you to learn and live in. Our teachers will focus on your language needs and deliver lessons to suit your learning preferences.
We have some different English language course options for you, whether it’s General English or focusing on language skills such as reading, writing, listening or speaking. We also offer exam preparation courses e.g. IELTS, Cambridge, and Trinity. If you prefer, you can have one-to-one tuition so you can focus on a very specific area of language, such as pronunciation or writing skills, etc.
We believe in providing a service that goes outside of the classroom. Your welfare and general well-being are very important to us. To achieve this, we will provide you with accommodation, (if requested); airport transfers (when requested); a free tutorial system where you can meet with your teacher or a member of the academic team to discuss your progress, as well as any other welfare needs you may have.
In addition to this, we also offer varied student-led social programmes such as sports and visits to local sites of interest and day trips e.g. Brighton, Bath, etc...

Portsmouth is known as ‘the waterfront city’, because it has many miles of coastline and beaches. However, it is also technically an island.
Portsmouth is a fun place to visit with lots of activities and places to go. If you like history, there are the museums of Britain’s naval history, but it is also home to the modern Royal Navy with a large port to the west.
There is also the coastal resort of Southsea at the foot of the city. It is a great place to spend time in the summer with people sunbathing and swimming in the sea. There are many tennis courts nearby and other sporting facilities such as a beach volleyball court on the seafront.
Portsmouth is the home of the world famous hovercraft which can whizz you across the sea to the Isle of Wight in less than 15 minutes. If you like shopping, Gunwharf Quays is ideal with lots of shops to explore. It is also the location of the Spinnaker Tower, so you can see the whole of the city and beyond at the top of the iconic building.

Chichester campus is 10 minutes walk from the town centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants.
Once a Roman settlement, Chichester is famous for its Cathedral, Festival Theatre, Roman city walls and much more. Students really enjoy spending their afternoons in the centre, shopping and sipping their coffees at Starbucks!
Chichester is also very close to Brighton and Portsmouth: full-day or half-day excursions to both destinations are often included in the package.
Brockhurst & Marlston House Schools is a private preparatory school and as such hosts, English children aged 4 to 14. During half terms and summer break its beautiful facilities are used by BLA for its language courses.
The closest town to the school is Newbury, a historic market town and the principal town in the west of Berkshire, famous for its rare medieval Cloth Hall and an adjoining half timbered granary as well as its many listed buildings.
Students are regularly taken into Newbury with the school bus to do their shopping and explore the town centre.
Oxford and Windsor are both easily reachable from Brockhurst and are typical weekend destinations for full-day excursions.
Chichester University campus is set in beautiful surroundings, with plenty of green space to relax.
Founded by William Otter, Bishop of Chichester, in 1839 the campus offers a combination of attractive, historic buildings together with excellent, modern facilities.
In Summer 2012, a major refurbishment of the building was completed to further enhance resources and introduce a café, complete with ample social study areas. This award-winning, modern facility has an extensive and regularly refreshed library, complete with a large range of books, papers and journals.
On campus, there is a large refectory (a buzzing meeting point at mealtimes), and a smaller café for students and staff called Holts.
The campus is equipped with very spacious classrooms and auditoriums, outdoor spaces, two indoor gyms, rock climbing wall, football pitches, tennis courts, and many communal areas where students can gather after lessons.
Bedrooms are all modern and well equipped. They are single study rooms with a wash hand basin, wardrobe and desk in the room. Bathroom facilities are shared between six people, with a ratio of 1:3.
Bathrooms and communal spaces are cleaned daily, bed linens and towels are changed weekly. Laundry service is available on campus. There is free Wi-fi all around the Uni.
The closest airport is Gatwick. A shuttle service is available upon request.

Eurospeak Southampton opened in October 2018 and is Eurospeak’s second location in the UK. Eurospeak Southampton is located in a historic, 4-storey listed building, which is a 5 minute walk from Southampton Central train station, 5 minutes’ walk from Southampton city Centre and also opposite the biggest park in Southampton, Watts Park.
Southampton offers a wide range of higher education opportunities and students from all over the world choose to come here to study and enjoy the many green spaces, including Southampton Common, which is great for running sports, relaxing and studying! In the summer, events and festivals are held there.
Walhampton lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the edge of the New Forest, near Lymington in Hampshire. It is a private day and boarding school for boys and girls.
The School is set in 100 acres of lawns, lakes and woodland by the sea.
The school has a full campus with a Boarding House upstairs in the main building. There are dormitories for the Juniors to sleep ranging from 3-6 beds in size. Boys and girls are housed in separate sections of the building and there are well equipped common rooms for relaxation after the day’s studies and activities are finished.
The school has an outdoor swimming pool, as well as tennis courts, football pitches and a hall for indoor games. All of this is in a country setting with trees to the front of the school and beautiful views across the field towards the Solent sea crossing to the Isle of Wight.

Worthing is a beautiful coastal town situated only 90 minutes from London and is known for having one of the sunniest climates in the UK. It has been a popular place to escape from the noise and bright lights of the city. The school is situated in a beautifully restored Victorian mansion houses with study, leisure and social facilities and a fantastic activity programme all year round.
UK2Learn’s Summer Programme 2019 will be held at Barrow Hill’s Preparatory School in partnership with King Edward’s School, Witley, set in the beautiful countryside village of Surrey, and within an hour’s drive of central London and the south coast of England. The activities and classes will be held in the well-equipped classrooms and extensive grounds of the preparatory school and the excellent accommodation will be found in the senior school with its extensive boarding facilities including games rooms and chill out rooms.
Classes are kept small with an average class size of 10 students and a maximum of just 16, which ensures that all of our students receive the best possible attention and care from our fully qualified teachers.
Two weeks on UK2Learn’s Summer Programme will contain 27 hours of EFL teaching, 9 hours of Active English classes, 10.5 hours of afternoon sports and a huge variety of exciting activities every evening.
